Sex & Age of Cham

I've had my Veiled Chameleon for about a month. I purchased him/her from PetSmart and they weren't able to tell me the age or sex. Just curious if anyone could tell me what you think..thanks!

Get pictures of the back of her heels of her back feet. Either way she or he looks like 5-6 months old.

You can sex veiled right out of the egg. We need a picture of the back feet to check for a spur.

As the others stated, pics of the back of the back feet. Also, as far as your cage is concerned, it looks really bare and I would definitely add some more foilage in there!

You have a female. Do you know about having a laying bin in the cage for eggs? They can lay eggs from about 6 months on and never have to be mated. Don't know if you are aware of that or not. From her size I would say she is about 6 months old or so. The females are way smaller than the males.

I didn't know that they didn't need to be mated to lay their eggs. Should the bin be in a covered area under foliage or out in the open?

yes I agree, I was going to say older than 6 months. I said 6 and then thought after looking at the pic again, she looks even older.
