Sexing my baby veiled chameleon

Hey! I ordered a male translucent veiled chameleon. However, I am wondering if it is a girl. Here is a photo of one of strawberry's back feet <3 Also if she is a girl, I understand they need a cooler temperature to prevent egg laying and less frequent and tumultuous feedings once adult. Can anyone give me the proper feeding schedule and basking temperature?

I will say from your pics using duct tape in an enclosure is not a good idea... if she gets any part of her attached to it which can happen. Any where you used what looks to be hot glue you need to make sure there are no stringy pieces left behind.
I would add some smaller branches for her as well. The one she is on is pretty large. She will need different dimensions for gripping.

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
• Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are you geographically located?

Tough angle. I'd get a shot from above the foot to see the spur.

If it is a female, just know there is no way to completely prevent egg laying without surgery. Surgery is often too risky and no performed unless its an emergency.

You can decrease the amount of eggs developed with a specific diet schedule. Definitely read the article Beman linked above.

backwater reptiles, they don't guarantee sexing properly....however, it isnt that difficult to see a foot spur smh

Yes, her two back feet have a little translucent on them but that is all. She is super cute, I call her strawberry
