wodesorel Established Member Nov 24, 2015 #2 Females have a larger last segment. You should be able to do it at around 1/2 inch (sometimes less) once you get familiar with how they look. S samfish New Member Nov 24, 2015 #3 Cool, works perfectly... The longer/skinnier nymphs were Male, the wider ones were female!
wodesorel Established Member Nov 24, 2015 #4 It doesn't always work out that way - depending on where they are in their molt cycle they can look either skinny or fat so it's not foolproof! I got lazy with my dubias that way and ended up with no males for a while. lol
