Shaky legs

hello I’m new to chameleon forums. I have had my chameleon for a month in a half and I’m not quite sure how old she is. I got her from pet smart and I asked as much as I could but they couldn’t tell me exactly how old she was only that they had her for 3 months. Maybe someone can help me with her age. Most important she has been having shaky legs and not the normal back and forth hesitant to grab a branch kind of shaky. I feed her 6 crickets everyday with gutloading of carrots and apples I also coat what the ckeickets eat with calcium with no D3 and I gave her calcium with d3 at the beginning of the month and end of the month. Can anyone tell me if she is showing signs of MBD??

Lay bin is necessary for her already?. She hasn’t been going to the bottom of her cage or acting as if she needs to lay.

She's not mature, you don't need a laying bin yet. I don't see any outward signs of MBD in your photos. But the behavior you're describing sounds like the beginning of MBD. You mention your supplementation, which doesn't seem bad, but you should read the care sheet for calyptratus under the RESOURCES tab at the top of the page. Also you didn't mention a UVB light source, which is necessary to prevent MBD. If you're lucky maybe she's just showing the very early stages of MBD, and you can stop it now. Check out the UVB requirements in the care sheet. I don't know where you live, but if you don't have proper lighting unfiltered sunlight would be a good option until you can get a UVB bulb.

No Mbd that is visible, but she sure looks skinny. I would say she is about 6-7 months maybe. She looks bigger in the first pic, but could be camera close up. She needs more food and something else besides crickets. Superworms, silkworms, hornworms etc Her casque looks very sunken in. What uvb bulb are you using? Petco and petsmart are notorious for selling wrong lights. Also Uvb bulbs need to be changed out about every 6 months. Even though they are shining they can be depleted of all of their Uvb.

I am using a 5.0 UVB as well as a 75 watt daylight blue bulb. I got a higher watt because the 60 w was not providing enough heat for some reason the room I have her in stays cold I do have a humidifier for added humidity and I feed her silkworms 1 every weeks. She usually isn’t that skinny I don’t know if she was scared so she made her body that way but she is usually way thickets. I will give her more silkworms to get her plump

I would change the blue bulb for a regular white household incandescent bulb of a wattage that produces the right temperature.
