Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new chameleon. I have two veileds and love them very much. You can see Luie & Camille here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/members/jannb-albums-pictures-camille-luie.html
Any time I'm away from home I miss them and can't wait to get back home. :)

I'm attaching a couple of links below to help you with caring for your new cham and also some info on egg laying and a laying bin for your female. Yes, females lay infertile eggs without a male even being around.

So you finally hand fed him! Yeah! I know you have been working up to it, he will probably eat from your hands most any time you try it now... :D

I find everything about chameleons absolutely fascinating! It's like they cast a spell on you - once you have one you keep wanting more and more! Sadly I only have room for my two, Amy and Tommy, ant the moment. I love them so much and enjoy everything about caring for them. I love the daily routine and the fact that they are both really friendly makes them even more charming!

When I got my first chameleon (Lily) over 2 years ago, I felt like I had some kind of 'connection' with her, like I was meant to keep chameleons. It's kind of hard to explain, lol!:D I hadn't realised quite how attached I was to my dear Lily until she died - her death was just awful and I found that I just couldn't be without a chameleon to look after! Just looking at them makes me happy!

Here's mine - first up is Lily (R.I.P sweetheart)
