Shed eating?

This morning while I was watching my girls eat their crickets, I saw one approaching a piece of her shed. It was on a small branch that was twitching because of her weight and she snapped it up and ate it. ACK I'm sure it won't do her any harm, but has anyone else seen this happen? It must have been a mistake because of the movement.

Some chams will eat their shed from time to time for additional nutrients. Dont be worried at all about it, totally normal even when its not an accident

Dead skin contains a lot of calcium. So this is why they eat them.

This little veiled is my veggie eater. She loves Kale and I always find her salad dish dragged all over the place, even up into her perches.
