how often do veil chameleons shed ?and how can you tell when there going to shed. Any advice would be very helpful and appreciated.

at a young age, they can shed anywhere from once a month to every two weeks, its not an exact science and has to do with how fast they are growing, and how much. usually you can notice a couple of white spots like blisters. The sign I use sometimes other than anticipating it based on timing, is my guy will look a little ashy, and sometimes stop eating for a day or so. Not always, but its happens. Also sometime as little attitude is a good way. Like I said its not an exact science, but at a young age it should be relatively frequently and all at once. A solid quick shed in a day or two is a sign of good health. As they get older, they wont shed their whole body all at once and it will take longer to complete.
