Shedding

That's a good question and one that I've asked due to their growth rate slowing to a halt upon reaching full size but yeah even tho they stop getting larger they still shed their old skin. :)

They do still continue to grow through their life although it slows to such a tiny amount that it’s not really noticeable. When they get older they start to shed in patches not their entire body at once.

My veiled is almost a year old now and last two sheds have been in patches. Seems like when one area is finished another area will begin.

is this constant? Or is it like he sheads some areas and slowly sheds his whole body. then stops for a while then starts again?

One area will start (usually the head) then stop when finished. Next day or so will start a new area like front legs and side. It will continue in this manner until his whole body is shed.
