Mr. Viserion has just turned 1 year old and he is doing great! When we got him he was thin and dehydrated. His colors were dull and he had an unusual bulge on an ankle. Thankfully it turned out NOT to be gout but per doctor's orders, he has been on a special diet for the time being. His urates are now perfectly white, has very regular poops, (in the first week we only had one bowel movement and orange urate) sperm plugs, and he eats like a pig lol.
He just had his first shed since being in our care and I am blown away by the difference in not only his colors and health but his behavior as well He assumes that we are giving him a treat whenever we open his viv and will come right up to us. He does wonderful when being held but hates being put back in his viv once we get him out.
Here is a picture from yesterday morning when the major shed process appeared (his leg shed the day before)
Two videos from our nanny cam just a couple hours later (I apologize for the poor quality)

A couple hours later while we were at work, the explosion happened

I didn't take any pictires of him last night as he was understandably moody. Today, we are almost done shedding except for his front claws and the end of his tail but he is back to his sweet self. I am just blown away by his colors! Before, we didn't even know he had some spots of red rain (they appear black in the pictures but they are red). Here he actually gave his "I'm too sexy" poses for the camera lol No filters or adjustments are made to either picture. Oddly, he loves the camera.
Finally, here is what he looked like the day we brought him home on 8/26:
I want to thank everyone who has helped us with our silly questions, especially @Kristen Wilkins and @Matt Vanilla Gorilla. If it wasn't for everyone's help and these forums, I doubt we would have such a healthy, sweet boy. Happy birthday, Viserion!
