Shipping a baby

I am getting ready to ship my first baby Panther Cham. It will overnight and I have box with insulation and container I will put damp paper towel in. My question is: Do you use heat packs and if so what kind? I have Hot hands which states it is Natural heat and no odor. What about any fumes?

I would not use those heat packs-they make 40 hour heat packs that are made for shipping reptiles. PM me and I can get some sent to you today. They would prob get there tomorrow.

I will be shipping from Ga to TX but not sure of the full route it will take.
Thses small heat pack last for 10 hrs and are ment to go in your gloves so I do not think they get too hot. I was going to do a test run.

I go fishing quite a but and I have used those hot hands. They can get rather hot! If they make make heat-packs just for shipping reptiles I would recomment using those because the heat of each hot hands pack can vary.

I have used those. I wrap it in newspaper and tape it to the inside top of the insulation (lid).
1 will be fine as long as the box is not too big.
I would not use damp paper towel though.
I send everything dry.
Be sure to pack and drop off as late as possible to minimize time in the box and maximize the time the heat pack will be working.
If you are using UPS, I think he will go to the hub in Kentucky.

It's called UniHeat 40hr packs for shipping small animals. Check online or you can get them from Coastal silkworms for 2 bucks a pack.

I test ran a pack of hot hands and it didn't get super
hot. I'd say it kept a constant heat of about 76-84 F

I'm looking forward to my new ariva
