What carrier should I use to ship my chameleon? CA to FL

Kammers used Fedex to ship mine which would be CA to FLA. That was in April and it was not near as hot as it is now though.

yeah, ill have to give fedex a call. id definitely have to use some cold packs for my guy to stay cool.

this is all new to me. i had no idea USPS shipped animals either.

Yeah my post office is really cool too, they will hold my animals that are coming in and call me right away if I call them and tell them to look out for me. I like it because when you use a local post office and they get to know you they got your back, it makes me feel more comfortable.

I ship everything UPS. Never would I trust USPS with a live animal from personal experiences, but I'm sure they are fine. That's a looong trip, so go with the best service.

at this time of year i would be kind of worried especially with the heat. from east coast to west coast!!!

FedEx and UPS are very good at what they do. I would stick to one of those.

i plan on using them, but i spoke to my local fedex people and they dont want to deal with live animals. idk if this is going to cause a problem.

I would recommend using Reptile Express, they seem to have better rates than SYR, but I've used both and was satisfied with their service. They both use FedEx as carrier. Now about your local fedex not wanting live animals, I had the same problem, but you can ask them where is their main warehouse, closest to you (where all the shipments come in and are loaded in the trucks for delivery), and they will take ship live animals for sure.
