Should I be worried about these bumps?

Hello! My guys name is Rasta and I’ve had him for over a year now. He has this strange bulge under his eye that has been there for a while now and I’ve been monitoring it and it hasn’t grown that much. Recently I just noticed a new bump or break in the skin above his mouth in the same area. Does anyone know what this could be from and how this happened? You think it’s disease/pest related or just a cut?

Yes, you want to get him into a vet. bumps, sores, growths are not something that should go untreated. Not all are bad but some can be contagious viruses for other reptiles, some can indicate infections, and some can be cancer. The location of those specifically is another big red flag... Anything near or on their eyes is not a good thing.

Thank you! Just booked his appt. Luckily I have a reptile doctor near. Hopefully he’ll be ok

Perfect, more than likely ok but so much better to have peace of mind with these guys. They may want to aspirate or biopsy the bump. So just mentally prepare for that possibility.
