Sick/unhappy Cham?

Hey guys so I'm a new member and I just got a jacksons Cham about 6 days ago. I've done a ton of research and believe to be doing everything right, but he just sits in his basking spot with his mouth open and is almost all brown. But when he moves around or I pick him up he turns green and closes his mouth. Please help!!!!!

Could you tell us a little more about him and his set-up, please? How hot is his basking spot and his cage generally? Jackson's tend to like it fairly cool.
