curious...is the silkworm chow and hornworm chow the same? just getting finished with my first hornworm pod and about to breed them and noticed the chow smells the same as the silkworm chow.... but they are sold differently... is this just a marketing gimmick or is the chow really different?

then why the heck do they sell them differently? stick it to the man!!!

I was asking myself the same question.

I figure - Just marketing...

Some wouldn't buy silkworm chow for hornworms and vise versa. Easier to sell it under two different names.

I just fed off an entire cup of hornworm chow from the cup to my silkies. They ate it right up.

There's one extra ingredient added to the Hornworm mix. I buy the hornworm mix for raising them, cause I feel I get better results than raising the worms on silk chow. So, yes there is a slight difference.
