Silk cocoons?

i attempted to buy silk worms from a new supplier, which turned out to be a mistake.

Most arrived dead and about 4 of them spun into cocoons the day after they arrived.

I need advice on where to keep the cocoons. I figure my Cham can eat the moths when they emerge. (Won't be a total loss then!)
What's the proper way to store them?

@Katacara knows a lot about silkworms, but I think that they should be kept in a tray, almost. Check out my thread "Silkworms"
