Some have got success lighty blanching them, and stacking them very thickly in a vacuum bag.
No one has had success just putting a few layers of raw leaves in a vacuum bag.

I will give it a shot. Don't have a tree of my own but know where there is one near by so thinking about a way to stock pile leaves while I have access. Thanks for the info
