Silkworm egg help

I'm taking a shot at raising silkworms and so far so good. I let about 35 cocoon, which turns out to be a good thing because I got about 20 males and 5 females. I'm sure the poor girls feel like they're on a never ending shift at the Bunny Ranch. Anyway, I've separated the females out with a couple males each and the easiest way to do that was to just pick up one of the used cocoons that they were mating on. I really didn't want to disturb or hurt them too much so the cocoon went with them to the egg laying area.

Well, when I got up this morning, one of the cocoons was covered with eggs. I guess I didn't get it out in time. So my question is, what is the best way, if any, to get the eggs off the cocoon and onto something I can refrigerate or incubate? Or should they be just fine where they are?

Sorry AFH I cant answer your question but are they easy to get to cocoon and mate. I ordered eggs online and they are easy as hell to get to hatch and raise. Ive been thinking about breeding them but just havent tried. i also have access to a mulberry tree which would cut cost down a lot.

after the three days you let them sit out, before putting in the fridge,
they should be hard enough to pick off.
i would just leave them on and after they cool off for a month take what you
need by cutting up the cocoon.

they are easy to breed and cocoon.
the way you get them to cocoon is just feed them a lot,
and then to breed is just put them togeather.
