Silkworm Poo

Here's a question I've never seen...

Would silkworm poo make a good fertilizer? It seems like it would, but I'm not up on my plant biology.

Interestingly, I just re-read this: "with one exception being the fruitless cultivars, which can have very hairy leaves and are not as readily consumed." from the article on Chameleon News.
