silkworm questions...

first where is the best/cheapest place to order them?
second how do you store them? i seen silkworm food,do you have to feed them? do they get gut loaded like crickets?
about how many aday do you offer?
i have no experience in this and am a complete idioit on this. so please educate me with your silkworm wisdom.

I'm relatively new to silkworms, so I had to read the care sheets just like you. Since you're in OK, try either Coastalsilkworms.com or mulberryfarms.com. They both have care sheets that explain what you have to do to care for them. You do have to feed them, and if you don't have access to a mulberry tree, you have to buy the food and feed them. Both of the above sites have care sheets. Since I assume your new addition will be about 3 months old, you'll need relatively small ones and you'll need to keep them relatively small for a while, so I would feed them every other day to stem their growth. They grow fast.
