Silkworms are back!

Contacted Mulberry Farms today.
They have small sikworms now and will have mediums in a couple days.
Then so on for large and jumbo.
I guess the eggs are imported, and they didnt arive in time. So they sold out before they could hatch and grow now ones. Costal Silkworms get their eggs from Mulberry. So if this happens again you can bet costal will run out too.

it seemsed not only did the silky's disappear but so did the horn worms for a few weeks. buying hatchling horn worms in the north east in the winter isn't good (i think they also know it is winter) it is amazing in the summer they grow from hatchling to 3" worms in a week and 1/2 but in the winter it can take 3 weeks or more. i keep them in my reptile room so it is warm with a drop to 62 degrees at night.

just got my silky's and horn's an hour ago for the first time in 3 weeks, i will have some happy cham's in 10 minutes.
