silkworms vs waxworms for nutritional value

Hello...

Sorry for the basic newbie question...But I was wondering what the difference is nutritionally between silkworms and waxworms? No one carries silkworms around my area and one store carries waxworms...Would waxworms be good for my chams main food source?

I don't think they're recommended as a main source as they contain alot of fat/lipides

Waxworms are great! But no good as a staple...as mentioned, they are way too fatty.
Silkworms however, are something like 70% protein and a great staple!
I don't recommend feeding just one thing ... as much variety as you can get is best.
Buy your silks online Pam of Pam's chams, mulberry Farms and Coastal are all good sources.
