Skink that lays eggs & has live birth

Interesting article by National Geographic about a skink species that lays eggs & also gives live birth. Thought I'd share.

wow- fascinating.

So if the egg layers and the live birthers are the same species, I wonder what happens when they cross? Are some of the offspring from the same mother then live-bearers and some egg layers?
