My veiled Cham, pascal, has been sleeping quite a bit during the day now. Much more than usual. I often come home from school and go to feed him, only to find him sound asleep! I let him be but he naps for several hours and I'm worried I might be doing something wrong. He's been going to sleep at night earlier as well. I've also noticed that the base of his tail is a tad puffy underneath, and I'm not sure if it's always been like that or not. I can include pictures if needed.
Some other info that might be helpful:
He's about 6 months old now, give or take a few weeks
I have a fogging system set on a timer for him and I spray down his cage several times per day to ensure he has enough moisture
He's in a bit of a smaller enclosure right now but I'm in the process of building him a much bigger one
He's been getting about 12 small crickets per day (is this enough? I don't know exactly how many he needs in proportion to his size. I don't want to under/over feed him)
I gut load them and dust them with a calcium + d3 supplement a couple times a week
He gets the occasional freeze dried mealworm, but I try to keep it to about one every few weeks (I don't want to risk impaction or anything)
I leave out greens, etc for him sometimes but he never touches them
Thank you for your time
