If you are supposed to turn the lights off at night for them to sleep i.e. being heat and UVB. How are you supposed to keep the heat up for them to their night time standard of heat? Oh yea and how to you read the humidty levels?
They can stand a drop at night , its needed. As long as it does not get too cold. If your area gets really cold, use a space heater or something. My house never gets lower than 70 at night. His basking spot is between 83 and 85 and the bottom is about 73 with a drop to 70 at night.
Just to inform today I went to my local pet shops i repeat shops LOL. Got a uhm temp, and moisture therm, so I am good there looked at possible heater coils thought it would be unsae for them and possible fire starter so ignored that, but I will look into geting a small heater for the inclouser and my thermostat dont go over or under 70 so I should be safe then right?
what type of cham r we talik about here, most chams will be fine into the 50's at night and i highly doubt anyones house goes anywhere near that low at night.
my house is a disaster right now. I am getting all new floors and I have my chameleons outside on my patio now tonight an last night. When I woke up today the temp read 63 so I know it was colder than that during the middle of the night. I have two panthers by the way.
