Is it ok to put them in my fridge?
Their growth has been out of control and some already too big for my 5 months old chameleon to eat.

Thanks

Ya, you can slow them down. Put them in the fridge and for two days, then have them out for 1 day. Do this as long as you need.

*Look here because they sell them.**

Dodolah, They say on the site not to refrigerate but they don't say why. When mine got to big for my cham, I set them outside. I thought they would either die or pupate. It was in the lower 40's here when I did this. It almost completly stopped their growth and didn't kill them. I left them out for 4 or 5 days and them brought them in were their growth rate resumed. I don't know why you couldn't refrigerate them regardless of what the seller says. Good luck and let me know the results if you try this.

How long do they live?

A: Their normal life cycle lasts around three weeks at 75°F and as little as two weeks at 85°F. If for some reason you have extra large hornworms and no one to feed them to, you can put them in the refrigerator (40°F-42°F) and it will extend their life for a few days.
