small 6 month Panther

Hi everyone,
I was looking for some guidance with my 6 month old male Panther Chameleon.
He has a buldge on his eye that I thought would go away but seems to be getting bigger, also, he has not grown much since I got him.
I got him Feb 1, he was about 3 1/2 months old.
I have attached some photos, in order, Feb 6, Feb 15, March 6, and yesterday April 12.
Today he had his 2nd shed since I got him, he is showing a bit of red on his tail and stomach, which is exciting.

His uvb bulb was bought new for him when I got him. He has a ceramic heat bulb for the day and another basking lamp. Basking temp is about 80 degrees, temp drops to between 60-68 at night.
I mist 3 times a day for about 2 min plus have a little dish of water and moss in the bottom to make sure humidity stays up.
I dust with calcium 5 times a week and multi about every week and a half.

Any suggestions on his size or the bulge will be appreciated.

I see the bump on the eyelid.
How long has it been there?

I would get rid of the moss, they can eat it and become impacted.

Regular misting (or an automated system), and a dripper, and maybe a real potted plant, will provide you with the humidity.

Most of us use no substrate on the floor at all.

Hmmm I agree, he is very small for six months. Could the place you bought him from have gotten his age wrong? My suggestion would be to get rid of the moss and just add a live plant in your enclosure. I see the bump as well, I think this is an issue that calls for a vet visit. Especially with it getting bigger and bigger.

sniper had a bump just like that when he was younger. It ended up being leftover shed. I gently used a qtip and check to see if it moved around the eye and when i did i noticed it shift near the opening. It fell out pretty easy. I dont suggest you do this without a vet or vet tech near by. I would say take him to a vet and let them deal with it.

I got him from a credible breeder in my area, I know who the sire is (and paid a lot to get him)
The bump started rite after I got him, in February. but was small until the middle of march.
I gave it a little squeeze and it feels like a cyst, I could feel it breaking up some. I will book an appointment with a vet for the eye bump.

The weather is finally nice enough that I can start to bring him outside... I hope the natural light will stimulate growth, it sure gets him to start showing his orange, reds, greens, and blues.
