small black spots???

after i turned of the lights for my cham, i heard a thump and it was my 3 month old cham that fell. he seems to be alright, will monitor tomorrow.. but as i picked him up, to get a closer look at him, he has a little black spot that looks like a tiny burn, its not a tear of the skin, and there is a second one on the top of his head, near his right side.

chameleon info: 3 month male old ambilobe panther, (1 week in my care)

Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? (once just now)
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham?(15- 20 1/4-1/2 inch crix) What amount? What is the schedule?(morning) How are you gut-loading your feeders? (repcal without d3/repcal w/ d3 and herptivite----d3 and herptivite 3 x month and repcal calcium wothout d3 almost every feeding)

(dripper and handspray , i spray in morning for about 3-5 minutes 3 times a day)Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? (normal poop with white urates, have not been tested for parasites)History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. ( N/a)

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? (screen cage 30 x 18 x 36-i know its large, will do some thing about it)
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? ( 6:00am-7:00pm) reptisun 5.0 uvb and basking spot light 75 watts)
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? (83-87 degrees on basking area, everywhere esle 70-78 degrees, at night 68)Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? ( i spray for humitiy and have live plants between 50-70 %)
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? (ficus benjamina)
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? ( my room, on my desk, near window, only ceiling fan is on sometimes, about 3 feet off the ground)Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
( just found out my cham fell but looks alright and then found very tiny, not lumpy very smooth that go along with the skin, tiny black dots on his right back knee ,and right top coner of his head. Any ideas, will post pics tomorrow...he acts normal and healthy , just has these tiny black dots that look lie maybe bruising or burn

It could be a bruise. I think that they bruise similarly to humans. Napoleon fell about a foot once while reaching for his food and had little black spots like bruises. They went away very quickly. If the marks are still around in the morning, could you get a picture? I could tell you if they're like what I saw.

Guessing without seeing a picture, it could be a bruse or a minor injury.

Its common for baby chams raised together to sometimes get bit by siblings in competition for food. If they get bit by siblings the bite will leave a little black spot. It usually heals by the next shed

Sounds like it could be a similar thing.. either from the fall or from before you got him and you just never saw it before..?

i checked him again, and you might be right, could be possible briusing, but the one i say on his knee was gone, i guess it was problably just his own skin color, and changed it to normal, or maybe i was seeing things,. after holding him again, he got freakout and started sleeping on the screen cage doing the splits... its not a good picture , but will get new ones tomorrow morning

i took reptar, my 4 month old panther, to the vet yesterday and the vet notices 2 little black marks on him, she said they were caused by trauma, for example falling down, they are basically bruises. she said to keep watch of them and make sure they dont begin to irritate, otherwise it will heal

they are bruises. My old veiled got them once and never before, he never fell at all.. so i was confused

Black pigmentation spot on my veiled chameleon

My little male (BENDER) has one small black spot on his neck.
Could it be pigmentation? It doesn't look like a bruise.
Will post a picture of it later.
