Small Clutch - Problems?

Had an 8 month old panther lay eggs today, 12 total. Some eggs were very large and a few were tiny (probably infertile). She was mated and laid eggs at 25 days. She never really roamed the enclosure the last few days and never really adopted gravid colors - rather she stayed a uniform salmon color most of the time. She did stop eating a few days before she laid which was really the only sign that she was gravid. Today - the 25th day after the inital copulation - I placed her in a nesting box where she dug a single burrow, laid her eggs and covered the nest. I've never had a panther lay so few eggs. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts...

I was "hoping" most were infertile...because sometimes when that happens they lay the clutch sooner than normal and then go on to lay one that is all fertile. Maybe it will still happen?

I had an ill female who laid 12 or so eggs. At least I think she was ill at the time (I can't remember exactly as she kept getting mouth rot.) Watch her closely.
