Sméagol, being a veiled, is VERY territorial.
He. is your basic; 'if ya cant hump 'em, eat 'em" type guy
We all know the type!!
Squee, he wants to eat, Noogie he wants to hump!!
Anyway, even though no one is stressed out by Smeagie, I decided to put
a cloth cover over all the cages, since they are all linked into my free range "Beltway" and one can look down through the roof to see who's inside.
So, now Sméagol cant do that, no more pervert 'peeping cham'
Sméagol doesn't like this idea one bit and as I was putting Squee back in his cage from cleaning his vent, I didn't notice Sméagol hiding nearby.
When I put Squee back, I was about to close his door, when Smeagie zoomed right into Squee's cage in the blink of an eye!!.
Sméagol was a few inches from taking a big bite out of Squee before I could quickly put my hand in the way, which made Smeagie puff up and hiss.
The glass of red wine that had been in my hand was now all over the floor and I literaly had to grab Squee and flee
Squee was safe, but Sméagol would not come out of his cage.
I had to turn all the cage lights out, then get him on my hand and into the free range.
I am still in process of scrubbing up red wine, but very glade I caught this one in the nick of time
What in the world was Sméagol trying to do??
Squee is obviously too big to eat, I assume he wanted to kill poor little Squee!!??
