Snails?????

So I bought a golden pathos that is actually formed as a tree due to the fact no matter how much my Cham eats he attacks leaves like there's no tomorrow. washed the new plant Friday night and Saturday night first wash 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar, second wash 1/2 peroxide 1/2 water, then third plain water. I washed it thoroughly as a ease of mind. Got the plant in the cage and everything was good till tonight I noticed a snail on one of the leaves. Should I be concerned or is the snail safe to be in there? The three other plants are the ones he ate bare.

Get the snails out. They are a vector for lungworms. Just take them out as you see them. Not all chameleons will eat snails and I am sure not all snails and slugs have parasites.

I agree with the above post. It's too much of a risk.
