Snails

If you catch wild ones you should keep them in a bucket or tank and feed them dark leafy greens. Within about a week, all the sick ones will die off and the ones that are left will be safe to feed to your chams.

Wild ones are definitely full of parasites. It's more likely than not.

They eat bird (and other) poo, where parasite eggs are found.

Check out this nasty parasite that has adapted to getting eaten by snails.

CRAZY HEY!

But if you breed them yourself it shouldn't be a problem.

Keep them very clean especially the first generation clean and you're all good.

Kenya feeds snails to her jacksons I belive, you could PM her and ask her where she gets the snails, or if she breeds them herself.

Not sure where you got this information from, but I would not suggest feeding any snails off from the wild.
Most snails survive quite a while before dying, how do you think they got so big? :p

Would not take a chance with wild ones....

Yeah, I would stay away from the wild ones. I used to feed canned snails to my monitors. They didn't care if their food moved though. If it was in the food bowl they ate it.
