Stop bragging!!! Last time it snowed here was 2009!!!Looks just like normal winter in Canada!
It is special at least to be able to enjoy it while it is here. It was literally here for 5 hours before daybreak melted it, you know, 33 degrees!Wish it was the last time it snowed here! One year without shovelling snow would be amazing let alone 8 years!
No, just throw snowballs, and take pictures. It's less than 5C here now.
So you didn't even get to make a snowman??
Slide down a hill in a toboggan?
If they stay that long, they may as well plan to stay till spring! Good luck getting out, once you're in! I'm from Erie. The snowiest city in the US. Thanks to lake effect!Geesh....you need to come to Canada in March for a week or two!
I don't think I've ever seen a real winter, know that you mention it, I think I will stick to our sad little 6 inch tall snowman's.@Angelwolf said..."If they stay that long, they may as well plan to stay till spring! *sigh*What....you'll just take the quick version ....and not experience the real thing!!!?? No fingers and noses that are so cold you can't feel them from seeing outside shovelling snow off the driveway? No Rosy red cheeks? No hat head? No slippery sidewalks and driveways? Not being able to get anywhere because the plows can't keep up with the street plowing so you can't drive? No power outages that leave you scrambling to keep your critters and self warm enough to survive? No snowmen or skiing or skating or snow forts or tobogganing? Hot chocolate with marshmallows sitting around the side of a rink? No snow for Santa's sleigh? No sleigh rides? No beautiful scenes with iceickes hanging on everything glistening in the sun? Lookwhat you're missing!!
Only six inches When I was in elementary school we would roll snow balls that got to about 5 feet tall. It took about a dozen 3rd graders to be pushing one that big. Its more fun outside to when its -20F outsideI don't think I've ever seen a real winter, know that you mention it, I think I will stick to our sad little 6 inch tall snowman's.
