Snuffing out calcium

My female snuffs out white stuff out of her nose which i have been told is what they do when they have to much calcium in their body.. Prob is i stopped dusting her crickets for a few days then started again and later that day she had white powder around her nose and when i was watching her i saw a white stuff around her "arm pits" and under her legs..Can anyone tell me what that might be and what it means.....

dont stop dusting!!. The white stuff is minerals and salts. As far as the white under her armpits and legs, what do you mean by "stuff"?

if she's a veiled it has nothing to do with calcium- it is salt from salt glands in her nose. To conserve moisture, some lizards do this instead of only through urates (urine which involves moisture loss).

That's just a wrong myth. You can't overfeed a chameleon with calcium supplements given orally as long as the chameleon gets a good supplementation of Vit. D3 and UVB lightning. And a chameleon doesn't eliminate calcium via nostrils. In fact those white stuff contains natrium and potassium, it's a nice way to save water for a chameleon. You may add a dripper to her cage to assure her drinking enough water.

Can you post a picture of the "white stuff under her arm pits"?

while it is technically possible to give too much calcium, this would NOT show up as white discharge from nostrils. As indicated, these are salts.

You might increase water (not RO water)
