and I think you might know what Im going to say next. When I woke up this morning, I fed and watered my jacksons pair like usual. hand misted for a few minutes, threw in a couple of dozen dusted crickets and a few silk worms and off I went. When I got home I was taking off my coat and I noticed some movement along the front of the cage and imagine my surprise when, what I thought was a large cricket actually turned out to be a little black and white striped cham. When I took a closer look I noticed two more hanging out in the cage and what appeared to be another curled up below a leaf but not moving, probably still born.

Now while I was semi expecting this to happen "someday" I wasent ready for it at all so I immediatly seperated the three of them and placed them in a smaller cage and went out and purchased a new ceramic lamp, plastic plants and some fruit flies culture. I set up the baby cage, misted them down with some warm water, dusted a couple of dozen flies and dumped them in a small ceramic pot and put them under a light to warm them up. I still havent seen them eat but they did drink from the leaves. I dont see that many flies left in there so im assuming they snacked on them. Im also not sure on what wattage light I should use for them. I currently have a 100w house bulb but its placed a couple of inches over the cage at a 45 degree angle. I will try to upload a couple of pics asap. Also I have noticed that mom is walking along all around the cage, more active than usual. is that normal? I misted her and fed her some more fresh crix after I set up the baby cage. will mist her again soon. any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations! I've never bred before but 100w is wayyy too hot. Idk if Jacksons even need a bad king light right away. But I've never bred so I could be wrong.
