bahahaha :D thats great. My friends call me the crazy lizard lady. Mostly because they really can't remeber the word chameleon for some reason. Its funny how people who know nothing about reptiles have the most challenging time to recall the word chameleon. lol my one friend is convinced my ( pygmies ) are called PIG-MUES or PIG-A-DOOS. it always cracks me up lol.
 
I know exactly where you're coming from. I put pictures of my baby veiled when he was 2 months up on Facebook and was called a "creep" for it. Didn't know owning a chameleon made you a creep?
 
haha! my classmates think im wierd and cool at the same time but weird bcuz im obsessed with chameleons. i even had a chameleon book i kept in my trapper keeper in case i got bored!
do you think keeping chameleons is an obsession because i do!

I think of keeping chameleons as a great hobby to take my mind off the stressful things life throws your way. :)
 
i put pics up of charlie at 2 months on facebook and was otld i look like him... well hes a handsome man so i take it as a compliment. If i had teh room id have so many chams haha they are such an amazing creature, how could you not be addicted to them!
 
lol i have tons of pics of my reptiles on facebook cham, snakes, beardies ,gecko etc lol eveythings im a reptile freak to ange :D
but i dont mind lol they are much more interesting then the norm pets like dogs && cats :p

Im like mildly alergic to cats.
and Im not a fan of dogs :p
I need something that doesnt make noise, make big poops, doesnt make me sneeze or break out, and doesnt jump on me :p

I seen u have a trapper keeper :) I have one too :p and I keep a Cham book in it too:) haha
 
My co-workers call me 'capt. chameleon' sometimes... One even brought in a news clipping "ueseless facts: A chameleons shoots it's tongue......' I have forgotten what it says... It's in my locker at work, I am such a dork I saved it and hung it proudly inside my locker. :D

My friends just see me as the reptile freak, haha. My auntie was at my house the other day she sat on the chair and wouldn't go near any of my reptiles. Oh and she called my chameleon "a funny looking ugly thing" not amused. Poor Mia, people just can't understand why reptiles are amazing and how rewarding they are. Way better then cats and dogs.
