Soft Water?

Anyone use soft water with their chameleons for misting?

I have RO bottled water, but carting it upstairs and the bottle collection from waterings gets too be much.

So far I have not had a clear answer for this question, because of the amount of salt added by a softener to reduce hardness of the water. Also heard it may be hard on the cage plants.

While im on the topic of water, why do bottled waters say "purrified by reverse osmosis and minerals added for taste"?

what are these minerals?

Good luck!

I can't say what it is that they add to bottled water... but RO water has no taste because all you are getting is H2O. If you can hook up an RO at your place instead of the bottled stuff.... RO is great for misting because it will not leave any nozzles white or clogged. People will say that RO isn't great for chams because minerals they would get in rain water are missing. Ro will remove everything else a cham shouldn't get.... so you need to weigh the options and see what works well. If you run a lot of nozzles and hard or soft water ruins them..... RO might be best for you. I have hard water and want to install RO.
