Soil temperatures in Andasibe, eastern Madagascar

Hello everyone,

a friend of mine, my husband and I did some more work about soil temperatures, this time in the east of Madagascar. It was recently published in CHAMAELEO (magazine of the working group chameleons of the German society for Herpetology and Herpetoculture) and deals with nearly a year of soil temperature measurements in Andasibe-Mantadia national park and two smaller parks nearby. Since so many people were interested in the last data from western Madagascar, I've put an English translation online in this case as well. Andasibe area has a wealth of chameleons, among them Calumma parsonii cristifer, Calumma brevicorne, Calumma nasutum, Calumma emelinae, Furcifer willsii, Calumma gastrotaenia, Calumma malthe... so should be quite interesting for people trying to incubate eggs of some of these species.

You can download the translated article here: https://www.madcham.de/en/publikationen/

Enjoy reading!
