S sharp229 Member May 13, 2015 #2 You actually would want to use a Solarmeter 6.2 for a UVB reading. 6.5 is for UV Index. https://www.solarmeter.com/model62.html The chameleon's basking spot should generally not drop below 35uw. I'm looking for 1.0-2.2 or so when I use my Solarmeter 6.5. Does that sound right?
