OK HERE IT GOES.....for my veiled i have always used repto-cal calcium suppliment with t-rex chameleon dust 50/50 on whatever i feed her everyday......i than found a product called reptisafe...which is a water conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramines, ammonia, reduces ph...and adds electrolytes including calcium....i add a few drops when i mist......when i got my panther i started reading alot more online and realised alot of sites and forums stressed the importance of vitamin d3.....so i purchased rep-cal phosphorus- free calcium with vitd3, and also rep-cal herptivitemultivitamins (because they reccomend to use both of those together).......so i am now using the vit d3 with the herptivite as well as the chameleon dust all together 30/30/30 with every meal.......is this right??? please tell me if these are good products and if so how much of each i should use however often......i still use the water conditioner as well.......................now i also wanted to ask about the crickets......i feed the crickets flukers gutload and flukers water suppliment as needed....is that all i need what else should i do ?.....and please give me any tips on how else i can make my chams as healthy as they can be.........thanks so much!!!

i don't know how good the flukers gutload is since i dont have much experience w it. but i would rather go with one of these high quality gutloads.

http://www.cricketfood.com or http://www.progeckos.com

i definitely wouldn't recommend the herpavite every meal. with a good gutload it shouldnt be used any more than once a week. while D3 is important don't overdo it, it can be fatal. only thing the food needs is a light dusting and they dont need d3 everyday only a few times a week if kept indoors at all times. oversupplementation can be very dangerous so everything in moderation.

as for the chameleon dust i dont know what it is ive never used it, but it is most likely unnecessary with a good gutload.

as for the electrolytes i havent heard of this being dangerous but i dont know if you need this either. might be useful if you see your cham has no appetite.

keep it simple vits once every week or two. calc w/D3 2-3 times a week. cal w/o D3 rest of the time. high quality gutload all the time and add healthy veggies for the crix to hydrate on.
