I took a few photos of some of my Rhampholeon this week and thought I would share them.

Nice photos Chris! How do you black out the background? or do you use a black sheet or photo booth?

For macro shots like that, you want to make it so that there is nothing behind the animal that will be lit up by your strobe. Then you can play with your aperture and shutter speed until anything that isn't lit up by your strobe (i.e. anything illuminated by natural lighting in the room) does not show up.

Glad you guys like the pics!

Sweet I know nothing about photography and I own a XTi :D

What you need are some sweet pics of some Brookesia. I know someone who just got some really nice one's in. Can't do tomorrow going to do a little kayak fishing in the Keys. :D How's Sunday or Monday?

Thanks for sharing the pix, Chris! I'm growing to like the acuminatus more and more. I've always liked the spinosus, but find them very hard to take seriously with that rostral appendage. (But they never asked for my opinion.)

I think this is how I acquired most of my chamelons-Mike's interesting sales tactics! :) "You need one of these..."..."I can ship out Monday..."

Very nice shots Chris, how are you keeping your acuminatus; as in high/low temps, humidity, any tricks that would behoove for better care of this chameleon type?

Guess there's nothing really new I could add here, but, hey....beautiful pictures! Those sure are some neat chameleons, too.
