he's been doing GREAT after his 3 week food strike!!!! now eating 12-15 crickets every other day and 2-3 med. supers or hornworms.....
he's even gained 2 grams in the last couople of days which is more than he has gained in the 3 weeks he was off feed!!! he weighed 78 grams this morning!!!!

AWWWWWW!!! :eek: That last pic is 'chamtastical'! Makes him look like something out of Jurassic Park, lol! He is such a gorgeous boy!:D:D Glad he's eating again - they are such a worry! You can't force them to eat when they aren't hungry though!

thanks TIFF!!!!! i'm sooo happy that he seems to be getting back to his old self!! i was really at a loss as to what to do for him but he's back inthe swing of things, if it wiggles he's after it!!!! :)

i think that last shot is my favorite!!!!! he is the absolute sweetest little guy. if you look into his eye,, you can see the kindness!!! ;)
 
Lisa, Stanley is just so handsome. :D I'm glad he's back to normal with his eating and gaining some weight. Thank you for posting.

He gets that sweetness after his daddy.

thanks Jann, i have to agree with you, he is "almost" as handsome as his Dad!!!!

you can't imagine how glad i am that he is "back to normal"!!! (knock on wood!!!!!!)

you said he was a sweetie when you picked him out for me and you were so right!!!!!

It's also how you kept him......after I sent him to you that kept him so sweet. ;) If you'd stuck him in a cage in a room all by himself and never messed with him then he would not be the sweet Stanley that you have today.
 
Lisa, I love the first and last pictures!! Stanley looks amazing! Hard to believe they are 5 months old now~~~ I will try to get some pics and weights on Luca tomorrow!
 
I love his 'pastel' juvi colors. Pan looked somewhat similar at that age. His colors can only get better!

blah. I wish that were true for Pan. He's just a meany. Even when he was a baby he would bite me (and I've had him since he was 1.5 months old!) I tried free ranging him after he was a month or two older and he would just freak out and get really really scared. I couldn't put my poor baby through that though, so I got him a roomy 2x2x4 when he was 3.5-4 months old and he never seemed so comfortable in his life. I think I'm going to make him a bigger cage soon though.

Jann, i have to agree with you!!!! he loves attention and constantly begs for it!!
he gets out every after noon at least once if not twice and on the days i'm off he gets out every morning and then numerous times during the day... he's housed in our den and seems to enjoy it, every time we walk past the cage he begs to get out , even if just for a walk around.... :)

hey Kara,,, i love the pastels also!!! i wouldn't mind if he kept them!!!!!! as far as getting better, i can't imagine, although he has a good chance, Luie and Camille are AWESOME!!!!!!

as far as the handling goes.... he begs for it constantly. i take him out and sit at the computer, he is just glad to be sitting on my shoulder or sometimes even ventures to the top of my head... just as content to watch it all from there.... :)

He is SO handsome, and I love that shade of blue he's sporting. Very very good looking young man you've got there :D
