i was thinking of getting a panther chameleon but their care seemed out of my range.i got one anyhow she is maybe 2-4 months aged.she arrive in perfect condition ,totally healthy. she is more then i thought she would be,the other day she had orange color and all the rest of the designs and colors ,i saw red to,black, brown theres alot.

i was watching her eat, climb, etc shes intimidating im just going on autopilot and doing what i been doing and she look really good, she ate some silkworms and crickets my plan is to get her on the hydromist this weekend ,she'l be super happy once shes connected.

how cool can it get at night for small panthers?shes roughly 5"

what would be the ideal temp range at night?

70 degrees at night would be good. They can even go lower to about 60-65 at night when they are a little older, as long as the temp gets back upto normal during the day.

Congrates on the little girl :)

i got her from Florida, she was raised outdoors.

im gonna borrow my moms camera and take some pics next week.

We need to see some pictures! What have you named her? I personally would not go below 70 for right now since she has gone through a location change. Keeping her a little warmer will ward off any respiratory problems, etc. she may be susceptible to from the stress of change. I firmly believe in keeping any reptile that is under some sort of stress, change or illness a tad bit warmer. I love females. They can have striking patterns and hints of blue, violet, green or yellow. They can have real attitudes too.

i just put my female panther in 2X4 CAGE shes doing good ,i might call her peachy.

the boy is doing good to hes in a 2x4 cage also.

Good luck with your new cham. I think that the females are great they are something else. Can't wait to see some pics. What locale is she?

im gonna borrow my moms camera when i got the cages done.i gotta dry off some muhlberry tree twigs that i bleached.i got some bendable vines and some vines with leaves.

can 4-5 month old panthers bask at 90f ? or is it to much.
