My pups don't really pay much attention to Spike, but they sure as heck won't let anything near our home. Including but not limited to: the mail person, Amazon/UPS, squirrels, rustling leaves, and the neighbors.
The only laying down is my older pup Leia. She's 9 years old. The bigger one is my 10 month old pup Lincoln. They look alike but are completely unrelated.
Before we moved into our new home, they weren't able to be together for more than a few seconds or so. Leia has had a past of being aggressive as she's very dominant, so I've been really taking my time with integrating them over the last several months. I decided when we moved into the new home (neutral ground for both dogs) I was going to keep them together full time. We've been here a few weeks now and it has been going so great! Sometimes I need to verbally separate them because they'll get jealous of each other, or Lincoln will want to play with Leia and she doesn't want to because he's very rough lol I couldn't be happier with these two watching over our house and Spike though. They've been SO good.
