Spring Tails in Plants

So the bottom of my enclosure is mostly covered by 4 individually live potted plants, I've put drainage & charcoal in each of them & I was debating on adding springtails. I'd like to have springtails act as enclosure janitors & I'm hoping most of my cham's waste falls into one of the potted plants.

Does anyone do this in their enclosure? Will they quicky kill the plants? I was hoping they'd break down my chams feces & the plants root system to keep them from outgrowing their pots too quickly.

Thanks - I'm prepping for a new CB carpet cham...trying to get everything dialed in before he arrives.
I love it when people plan ahead and have everything lined up. I get angry when someone buys one spur of the moment and doesn't have a clue about the little creatures needs and trys to wing it...then wants help before it's too late...which it usually is. Good job!(y)
