Hey guys, i got my shipment of phionex worms , and silk worms today but they had forgot to add the crickets lol, no harm done. I was curious if the silk worms and phionex worms are good to feed him untill the crickets get here. are silkworms just as good or better than crickets?

Stick with the silk worms as a staple for now..as long as they are gutloaded with chow :)

Silkworms are an awesome staple just like crickets

Goodluck!

Great! they have alot of chow they came with, i also just purchased alot more too so my silks should be very happy untill they meet Bowser :D

Phoenix worms are pretty good as they contain lots of calcium for healthy growing chams! :D Plus, my guy loves the flies they turn into!

Never used silks as I've never seen anywhere sell them in the UK! :(

I thought a heavy diet of phoenix worms is not good because of too much calcium and it can bind up other nutrients. Most people have the mentality of " if a little is good for you, then I should give you LOTS!" .

I didn't know that! I've never used them as anything other than a supplementary feeder so that's good to know!
