STOLEN: 3 Panther Chameleons (2 male,1 female) EDMONTON, ALBERTA

3 Panther chameleons all around 9 months old were stolen from two pet store locations in Edmonton, AB. March 16, 2010. If you have seen any chameleons for sale that fit these descriptions posted on this date please contact me.

Males

Green and red stripped Ambanja Panthers.

Female

Peachy orange with pale yellow freckles. (very round)

Besides the normal authorities that you notified already, make sure to keep checking any other pet shops even if they're quite a distance from you. Also, if there's any reptile breeders around ask them to keep an eye out for someone trying to unload any chameleons. And don't forget to keep an eye out on Craigslist. There's a chance they would pop up there too. Good luck and keep us informed as to what happens.

My Rep store had 1 or 2 stolen as well a while back as well. They now keep them behind the counter.

Probably the same way they get them country to country, in bags stuffed tightly to their body, baggy clothes etc. Why go to another country to illegally take reptiles when you can do it in your own city? Pathetic.
