Strange skin patch?

I hope this photo turns out. I am concerned about a dime sized white patch over my chameleon's right eye. I've only had him 5 days and I thought that it was a piece of shed left over and it would drop off but it is still there. I've been misting him with warm water several times daily. I almost think it has gotten whiter looking.

Any advice?

thanks!

get a better 3/4 view rather than frontal. Avoid using flash and /or blasting the room with too much light.
From your pic, it does look like a shed.
sometime older chameleon can take longer to shed.

Looks like left over shed to me, dont worrie about it, my guy has skin stuck to him for days on end...its almost like he always has one body part shedding lol.

The only time you need to worrie about left over shed sticking is when it is cutting of circulation (a ring of skin around his tail, feet)

Just keep up the mistings and DO NOT pull it off, it may still be attached to skin below and pulling it off will cause all sorts of problems.
