Stressed or Just Shedding?

My Veiled Chameleon has been black like all day. However, he is shedding. Is this just a symptom of shedding or is he stressed?

No, they usually don't really turn black during shedding. Have you just recently acquired him? He could be stressed due to the new environment. He could be cold...what are your temps?? Oh BTW, you started this thread under "site assistance" that is for questions about your personal page, or something about the website itself. If anything they get lighter and more pale during a shedding - black is definitely more than likely him being stressed.
