Stupid question, but how do you clean poop off a live plant?

I clean my chameleons cage daily, and have been using non-toxic, organic baby wipes. Is this the best option?

Just curious what you guys use on live plants (which seem to absorb more).

I take the plant out and wash it in a bucket of water and soapy (hand) dish detergent. I turn the plant upside down and swish it around and also rub it off by hand. Sometimes I will just cut off that leaf.

So every time your chameleons poop you take the plant outside and do that? That must be A lot if work! Lol the leaf method seems much easier!

I use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel weekly and let dry completely before I put my cham back in. Doesn't hurt the leaves on pothos, schefflera spider plant or tradescantia.

Cut off the leaf, or just wipe with vinegar. I actually wish mine would poope more on leaves. Most of the time it is in some hard to reach corner or crevice.

Mine uses his catch basin under his dripper! He seems to think it's a toilet. It's not a bad thing,

Easy for you to say. He doesn't eat out of that basin.o_O I have a routine every night, to remove his feeding trough, dump his poopy and then wash and clean it and put it up for the evening. It goes back in the morning so the cycle repeats just about every day or so. (On the bright side, I know he's healthy)
