Substrate ?

I saw some Loose Coconut Fiber Substrate for reptiles. I was wondering if anyone thought this was feaseable to use for a 3 week old Panthers cage or not to aid in holding some humidity? I personally am scared this will obstruct its little intestines.

It's best to avoid substrates for chameleons, you're right about the obstruction risk. What sort of enclosure do you have at the moment and what are your humidity levels usually?

The baby is about an inch and a half long so I picked up a semi glass case 8x8x8 with some plastic leaves. I mist in the morning for it and in the afternoon when I get home from work. Ive wintnesssed it eating pinheads and drinking water. After I mist the enclosure fogs up a bit at the bottom. The cage is in the warmest room of the house.

trillian is right substrate can cuss impaction the best thing for humidity is buying a real plant like a umbrella dwarf or a ficus
